Night Sky Event

Cadette Jasmyne, of Girl Scout Troop 38205, is presenting an educational night as part of her Silver Award project, Collaborating with Calhoun County Park 's Night Sky event, she is bringing International Astronomy Day to life. The Girl Scout Silver Award is the highest award a Girl Scout in grades 6-8 can earn. To achieve this award, girls spend a minimum of 50 hours making a positive impact in their community. This is an informational event about light pollution, the impact it has on astronomy, and various presentations by night sky enthusiast.
