Calhoun County Summer school began their second week this Monday, June 19, 2023. This week, students have the opportunity to learn new and exciting activities. This week students have the chance to do Elementary Art, Camp Foods, Drama/Theatre, STEM, Cardio Drumming, and Carpentry. In Cooking Camp, campers made cinnamon rolls from scratch! There were several steps and everyone had a wonderful time participating. The campers took a break from cooking, they did some cardio drumming with Mrs. Stewart. In addition to this and as an attendance incentive for elementary students, there will be a field trip to the Roby Theatre in Spencer this Friday. Any elementary student who attends 2 days is eligible for this. All of these activities help to broaden student’s experience and introduce them to fun and exciting activities. It isn’t too late to enjoy these activities and enroll. Just stop by Calhoun County Middle/High School. Camp begins at 8:00 and ends at 3:00.
