Students in Summer School recently embarked on an unforgettable adventure with Elk River Rail Explorers, experiencing West Virginia’s natural beauty from a unique perspective. Riding specially designed rail bikes along historic railroad tracks, students enjoyed breathtaking scenery, learned about local history, and discovered the importance of outdoor recreation. The excursion combined adventure, exploration, and teamwork while encouraging students to appreciate the natural resources found right here in our state. From start to finish, the trip was filled with excitement, laughter, and memorable experiences that made learning come alive beyond the classroom.
