Throughout Summer School, Coco, Calhoun County’s therapy dog, has made a lasting impact on students, staff, and families. His friendly visits have brought smiles, comfort, and encouragement each day, helping create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for learning and growth. Whether joining students during activities, offering a calming presence, or simply providing a wagging tail and a listening ear, Coco has helped students feel more confident, connected, and excited to come to school. His presence has been a reminder that learning is about more than academics—it’s also about building relationships, supporting well-being, and creating a place where every child feels valued. Coco has truly been one of the highlights of this year’s Summer School program, and we are grateful for the joy and comfort he brings to our school community. 🐾❤️
