Attention 3rd and 4th Grade Families!
Tomorrow through Wednesday is WVGSA testing! We’re aiming for 100% attendance to rock the test and show what we know!
We kindly ask for no tardies and no early sign-outs during testing days. Help your child be at their best with a good night’s sleep, a healthy breakfast, and being on time!

Next week, our 3rd and 4th grade students will begin taking the West Virginia General Summative Assessment (WVGSA) on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
We kindly ask families to:
• Avoid early sign-outs on those days
• Make sure students are present and on time
Let’s set our students up for success! Here are a few simple at-home test prep tips:
• Get a good night’s sleep each night before testing
• Eat a healthy breakfast
• Talk about staying calm and confident—they’ve got this!
• Encourage them to take their time and do their best
We are so proud of the hard work our students and teachers have put in—let’s cheer them on to finish strong!

Due to rising water levels and another band of rain expected around 1:00, Calhoun Schools will be dismissing early at 1:30 PM. The Parent-Teacher Conference at Calhoun Middle High School will be rescheduled. Stay safe!
The Calhoun Board meeting will be at 5 pm.

Due to a low power line on Rt. 16 near Little Kanawha Bus, our North End bus will be rerouting this morning. We will be traveling via Sycamore to return to Rt. 16. Please be patient with us.
Additionally, Bus 19 and Bus 22 will not be picking up students past Mt. Zion Church to the High School at this time. If there are any updates, we will keep you informed.
