Early Steps to Kindergarten Readiness will be starting to have Kindergarten Readiness groups at the Calhoun Family Resource Network (FRN) in Grantsville every Tuesday at 11a-12p. Come join us for some fun learn actives.
Come by and check out the book book, be entered to win a door prize and have a fun learning experience with your child.
Every Calhoun resident with children ages 3 to 5 years of age is eligible to attend.

This week Calhoun Middle/High School celebrates Homecoming week. Several activities are scheduled during the week, including the parade on Friday, starting at 2:30 in Grantsville. Students will be bused down to the parade from the schools. Each school will be sending home specific information regarding student pick-up. IF YOUR CHILD IS RIDING THE BUS HOME, PLEASE EXPECT THEM TO ARRIVE HOME 15-20 MINUTES EARLY ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 30. PLEASE BE AT THE BUS STOP EARLY ON FRIDAY. Thanks for your support.

Early Steps to School Success Kindergarten Readiness Program
Free early childhood education services to children three through five years of age and support for their parents or caregivers
Assist children with early language, literacy, math, social, and emotional development
The result will be a strong foundation of learning for the child which will prepare him/her for success in school!
Weekly In-person groups are held at PHE every Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. and at AES every Friday from 2:00-3:00 p.m.
Program Activities
o Fun parent-child activities!
o Developmental screenings
o Support and connections to community resources
o Parent/child groups and story book hours.
o A book bag exchange program for children
o Brain building tips for everyday moments.
You should register if:
• Your child is 3—5 years old
• If you are interested in preparing your child for kindergarten!

Due to a main water break Arnoldsburg Elementary School will not have school on Wednesday, September 14. Teachers and aides will report to Calhoun Middle High School. Cooks and custodians will report to the board office. We will update as soon as we have more information.

The Calhoun County Schools' Advisory Team (CAT) will be held on October 7, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Board Office.
