Middle School students engineered robots and participated in other eventful projects. High School students enjoyed constructing their own paper mache project. Summer Boost hosted a successful summer celebration last Saturday in which many families enjoyed. Thank you Erica Greathouse for writing the weekly newsletters and keeping us informed with the Summer Camp activities.

Good Evening ,
In the past couple of years CCS has provided backpacks to all students for the transport of laptops. Since we are no longer sending devices home for Elementary students, CCS will not be providing bookbags to the students in the elementary schools.
Students in grades k-4 will be issued a device to be kept at school.
Thank you and have a great evening, we can't wait to see you this fall!

Good Evening ,
This year we are giving students at CCMHS the option to use a school issued backpack, or bring their own backpack, for transporting the laptop between home and school.
If students choose to bring their own backpack, it must have a padded laptop sleeve or pocket to help keep the device safe during transport.
Students must bring the bookbag with the padded laptop pocket/sleeve to school the 1st day to receive their devices, or a school backpack will be issued to them.
Thank you and have a great evening, we can't wait to see you this fall!

Please remember that if your student has an emergency medication they will need to have the medication and a current provider order for their first day of school. Now is a great time to start working on getting those things taken care of.
Thanks,
Nurse Trudi

Summer Boost Week 3 has come to an end. Students had fun learning about many life lessons this week. They look forward to another exciting field trip to COSI, Saturday, July 9th.

Using STEM kits with a variety of materials, each team had to work together to build a bridge that would successfully allow a “car” to cross over it. Each team used different items to construct the bridges. In the end, only two of the teams’ bridges were strong enough to support the car! Great work, kiddos!
