Kindergarten Readiness is getting ready for a Spooktacular Halloween Party Friday. Come out and join us from 9:30 to 10:30. Wear your costume, play some games and have a snack. Hope to see lots of ghouls out and about.

Kindergarten classes at PHE have been participating in Sesame Street groups. This week we discussed the importance of teeth brushing, read a book, and watched a short video. The students received coloring sheets and toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss that was donated by Minnie Hamilton.

Any questions please contact Pleasant Hill at 304-354-6022.

Over the last week Pleasant Hill students and staff have completed a series of Safety Drills for emergency preparedness. These have included fire drills, soft lock downs, hard lock downs, weather shelter in place and building evacuation. We want to thank all the students for taking these drills seriously and following all directions given to them. We also want to give a big "Thank You" to the Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department for helping us keep our students safe as we practiced a full building evacuation. At Pleasant Hill and all Calhoun County Schools student safety is our top priority.
